Almost every couple tells me the same two things: we’re awkward in front of a camera, and we don’t want to spend our whole wedding taking pictures.

So I handle it. I’ll guide you through the portraits that matter, work quickly while the light is good, and then step back so you can get on with the best party you’ve ever thrown. And with two photographers, the moments happening everywhere else don’t get missed.

Dark and moody, washed out, whatever filter is everywhere this year — those looks date. My work looks the way the day actually looked: lush greens stay green, skin tones stay warm, and the palette you spent months choosing is the one you get back.

Alongside it, timeless black and white, and a little film, because some moments ask for it.

Your wedding happens once, in whatever light and weather the day gives you. A sunlit ceremony and a candlelit reception are two completely different lighting situations and after 200+ weddings, I know what to do with both of them.

HEY THERE, I’M KATHY

Your wedding is one of the rare days when everyone you love is in the same place. I want you to actually live it while we make sure you have photographs that bring all of it back.

Twelve years in, I know when to give direction, when to move quickly, and when something good is happening that shouldn’t be interrupted. I’m watching for the big moments, but also the reactions and the small pieces of the day you won’t get to see yourself.

You won’t be managing any of it. I work with your planner to coordinate every must-have moment, so once the day starts you can hand it over and stop thinking about photography.

And the whole story deserves more than one point of view : two photographers, licensed drone coverage when the setting calls for it, and film photography in most collections. Your gallery ends up as layered as the day was.
